Michael Babowal is a Public Relations Ninja at Interstate PR. He studied Political Science and Communications at San José State University, brings over a decade and a half of experience in public relations, content development, community outreach & social media experience to Interstate PR's team. Michael's has worked for 2 California State Assembly Members, California's 10th largest chamber of commerce & was the co-founder of the North County Young Professionals Program, in North San Deigo County. For the past 10 years, Michael has been conceiving & creating bold content for print, customer & corporate communications with a strong emphasis on using social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, website, and traditional PR methods. Michael provides a plethora of knowledge & experience in public relations, social media management, branding, community outreach, & content development. Michael holds Social Marketing & Conflict Resolution from Hootsuite & UC Davis respectively.
Crystal Babowal is the Ambassador of Fun for Interstate PR. Crystal studied Political Science at San Diego State University, and brings almost a decade with of experience in event planning and management. She has planned small to large scale events in the corporate, educational, non-profit and public sectors. In addition to her background in event planning, Crystal has worked in the California wine and music industries, non-profit management and in the UC system.
Jo Vasquez is the Visual Development Engineer with Interstate PR He attended the San Francisco Academy of Art with studied Fine arts. For most of the past decade, Jo has worked in the promotional and marketing industry. Working with local businesses, he has helped over 150 clients profit from the web. Jo is a graphic and web design guru.
Carrie Benjamin is an Events and PR developer with Interstate PR. Carrie studied Journalism and Public Relations at the University of Oregon. For the past 9 years, her principal focus has been event coordination, implementation and all tasks associated with executing sporting events for one of the largest cities in the United States. She has extensive experience in media and event productions. Carrie is a fundraising, events and PR specialist.
